About this role
Role overview Start a career in offensive security by helping assess client systems with support from experienced teammates. The work combines hands-on testing, research and reporting, with opportunities to build practical skills and gradually take on more responsibility.
Responsibilities - Assist with penetration tests, security audits and monitoring under senior guidance. - Research targets through reconnaissance and open-source intelligence, then scan for vulnerabilities. - Help verify findings and assess their priority. - Write clear reports in English and Latvian. - Set up lab environments and practise through capture-the-flag exercises. - Contribute reliably across the team as skills develop toward leading engagements.
Requirements - A demonstrated interest in cybersecurity or ethical hacking, such as through CTFs, home labs, study or personal projects. - Foundational knowledge of networking and Linux or Windows systems. - Experience with at least one scripting language. - Familiarity with security tools such as Burp Suite, Nmap or Wireshark. - Curiosity, care in your work, willingness to learn and clear English communication.
Nice to have - Latvian language skills. - Certifications such as eJPT or Security+, or progress toward OSCP; certifications are not required. - Penetration-testing, security operations centre or IT experience. - Personal project write-ups or a public CTF profile.
