Job details
About this role
Role overview This product leadership role owns the payments and finance domain for a business-to-business travel platform. You will shape the systems and product decisions behind client credit, financial exposure, risk, ledgers, and complex payment flows, balancing commercial growth with financial control and operational reliability as transaction volumes increase.
Responsibilities - Own the domain’s product strategy, priorities, decisions, and outcomes, and define how success will be measured. - Develop scalable ways to manage client credit lines and financial exposure while controlling risk and supporting growth. - Improve support for partner-specific payment rules, including virtual cards, charging requirements, and payment timing. - Make ledgers, finance workflows, and payment operations more reliable, scalable, and automated. - Work closely with engineering to turn complex financial requirements into practical product solutions. - Partner with Finance and Risk teams to understand business processes and make informed product trade-offs.
Requirements - Several years of end-to-end ownership of a product or business area, with clear evidence of outcomes delivered. - Strong understanding of financial systems and payment flows, especially credit, ledgers, risk management, or exposure. - Ability to work closely with Finance and Risk colleagues and translate complex processes into product decisions. - Comfort collaborating with engineering on technically complex products. - Experience operating under pressure, taking accountability for results, and making decisions amid ambiguity. - Willingness to investigate underlying business mechanics and move quickly as priorities evolve.
Nice to have Fintech, payments, or credit experience is especially relevant; travel industry experience is not required.
Benefits and work setup The position can be remote within the EU or hybrid in Barcelona, Palma, London, or Dublin. The role includes equity participation. The product team describes a fast-moving environment with substantial ownership and autonomy.
