About this role
Role overview
Lead the product domain responsible for matching hotel and room information from many suppliers, languages, and formats to the same real-world properties and rooms. You’ll own the domain’s outcomes and economics, set priorities with your team, and make product decisions that balance match accuracy with broader inventory coverage. The work combines product leadership with deep investigation of data and complex matching problems.
Responsibilities - Set the domain’s goals, success measures, priorities, and product roadmap. - Decide how to balance mapping precision and inventory coverage, and test ways to improve both. - Investigate high-impact mapping failures and focus work where improvements matter most to customers or the business. - Work closely with engineering and data specialists on matching, search, catalog, and content-quality problems. - Make product trade-offs and guide delivery from problem definition through measurable outcomes.
Requirements - Several years of end-to-end ownership of a product or business area, with outcomes you can demonstrate. - Strong understanding of entity resolution or related data problems, such as search, matching, identity, recommendations, knowledge graphs, catalogues, or content quality. - Ability to work deeply with data and technical details, including ambiguous or probabilistic problems. - Comfort making decisions in a fast-moving environment with limited process and significant personal accountability. - Interest in improving product performance through clear prioritization, testing, and trade-offs.
Nice to have - Experience with travel products is not required; data and platform expertise is especially relevant. - The source describes an existing mapping system operating at approximately 99.5% accuracy and 85% coverage.
Benefits and work setup - Remote within the EU, or hybrid in Barcelona, Palma, Dublin, or Casablanca. - Meaningful equity is offered.
