About this role
Role overview A senior leadership role uniting data centre systems, asset data, and intelligence into a coherent digital thread across an AI-focused cloud infrastructure estate. The position owns the multi-year roadmap for CMMS/EAM, PIM/PLM, telemetry, integration, and the data platform, pushing operations toward measurably self-aware and progressively self-operating data centres. It partners deeply with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Operations, Reliability, Platform, Finance, and HSE.
Responsibilities - Set and own a costed, sequenced multi-year roadmap and investment portfolio across CMMS/EAM, PIM/PLM, integration, telemetry, and the data platform. - Establish one canonical asset identity with taxonomy, hierarchy, configuration, and BOM standards, and lead data cleansing and validation-at-source programs. - Build a unified asset and topology model with OT/IT ingest (Modbus, BACnet, OPC UA, MQTT, Redfish, DCGM) and IEC 62443-aligned segmentation. - Publish data-quality scores and define shared metrics for PUE, WUE, capacity, stranded power, and availability. - Own CMMS/EAM configuration (criticality, PM strategy, spares, warranties) and controlled SOP/MOP/EOP libraries. - Advance anomaly detection, remaining-useful-life prediction, and thermal and power optimization through staged, bounded autonomy with explicit safety envelopes. - Convert commissioning (L1–L5) into data, set quantitative readiness gates, and benchmark readiness across the portfolio. - Act as senior escalation point across functions and enforce supplier and OFCI data deliverables. - Build and develop a high-performing team spanning lifecycle engineering, data science, and data engineering.
Requirements - 15+ years across engineering, asset management, enterprise systems, or industrial analytics, including 7+ years leading cross-functional programs at director level or above. - Ownership of a CMMS/EAM platform at scale (such as Maximo, SAP PM, Infor, or Nuvolo) plus depth in master data, PIM/PLM, BOM, and configuration management. - Experience designing and operating large-scale data platforms spanning OT/IT, analytics, and AI. - Strong leadership of multidisciplinary technical teams spanning data engineering, data science, and lifecycle engineering.
Benefits and work setup - Base salary range of $280,000–$400,000 USD, determined by skills, experience, education, and location, with potential eligibility for bonus, equity, and/or commission programs. - Competitive benefits package that may include medical, dental, vision, flexible paid time off, parental leave, and retirement plan participation. - Remote-first working model with flexible workplace practices and a tailored progression plan.
