Junior Frontend Developer

Role overview A part-time, remote opening for an early-career frontend developer to ship React components and micro-frontend experiences that power real-time dashboards. The role suits someone who enjoys TypeScript, likes working in Tailwind, and wants hands-on exposure to GraphQL within a mentored, test-driven environment.

Responsibilities - Build and maintain React components and micro-front-ends used in real-time dashboard experiences. - Write clean, well-typed TypeScript and style interfaces with Tailwind. - Learn and apply GraphQL to fetch and manage data across micro-front-ends. - Contribute to a test-driven development workflow, including writing and maintaining automated tests. - Participate in code reviews, pairing sessions, and mentoring opportunities with senior engineers. - Collaborate with product and design teammates to translate requirements into shipped features.

Requirements - Practical experience with React and modern JavaScript or TypeScript fundamentals. - Familiarity with or strong willingness to learn Tailwind CSS for styling. - Curiosity about GraphQL and comfort picking it up on the job. - Understanding of core web fundamentals, including HTML, CSS, and component-based architecture. - A test-driven mindset and attention to code quality, readability, and maintainability. - Ability to work remotely, manage time effectively, and ask for help when needed.

Nice to have - Exposure to micro-frontend architectures or module federation. - Experience with state management libraries or real-time data sources such as WebSockets. - Familiarity with version control workflows and pull request reviews.
