About this role
Role overview A Senior UX Visual Designer position on a hands-on individual contributor track, reporting to the Chief Product and Design Officer, at a remote-friendly company with offices in San Francisco and Los Angeles. The designer partners with product, data science, and engineering to set the visual standard for a marketing intelligence platform used by top eCommerce brands, including its AI-driven surfaces, email alerts, and integrations with ad platforms.
Responsibilities - Take early-stage concepts from subject matter experts and product teams and develop them into resolved, high-fidelity design. - Raise the visual bar across the platform through typography, color, layout, density, and interaction polish. - Build and extend the design system so quality scales beyond any single screen. - Design data visualizations that make complex numbers immediately readable for marketers. - Present clearly to customers and executives, and give and receive critique well. - Partner with brand and marketing teams on a coherent visual identity across web, mobile, email, and integration surfaces.
Requirements - 7+ years of product design experience with substantial B2B SaaS and enterprise work. - A visually outstanding portfolio of shipped work demonstrating command of typography, color, layout, and hierarchy. - Experience with complex, data-dense interfaces and data visualization. - Experience building or substantially shaping a design system. - Expert command of Figma and adjacent design tools. - Experience using AI to expedite design processes and to enable SMEs to build designs to spec, plus strong communication and presentation skills.
Nice to have - Marketing, advertising, or eCommerce domain experience. - Background that brings craft and playfulness to utility software, such as game design, motion, entertainment, or a formal art/design education. - Motion design and interaction work.
