Role overview A senior-level engineering role focused on building, maintaining, and optimizing the data infrastructure that powers analytics and decision-making. The position combines hands-on data engineering with applied AI, working across cloud platforms to transform raw data into reliable, accessible insights for cross-functional stakeholders.
Responsibilities - Partner with product, analytics, and engineering teams to clarify data needs and translate them into pipeline requirements - Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines covering ingestion, processing, cleaning, and real-time stream handling - Apply Python and AI techniques to automate and enhance data transformation, enrichment, and analysis workflows - Manage and optimize cloud-based data infrastructure across platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, and Adobe Experience Platform - Champion data quality, integrity, and security standards across all stages of the data lifecycle - Investigate data-related issues raised by stakeholders and drive them to resolution - Monitor industry developments in data engineering and AI to keep the stack current
Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline - Five or more years of professional Python experience covering data manipulation, scripting, and automation, including real-time stream processing - Five or more years working hands-on with diverse datasets and data collection methodologies - Three or more years of experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or AEP) - Two or more years of applied experience with Artificial Intelligence in a data context - Two or more years working with Apache Airflow and Snowflake - Advanced English proficiency, with strong written and verbal communication for working with international clients
Nice to have - Familiarity with both batch and streaming data architectures - Exposure to data governance and security best practices at scale
