Job details
About this role
Role overview
Lead product design for revenue-generating experiences, shaping how customers discover and use monetization features across a consumer platform. The work calls for balancing business outcomes with usability, accessibility, and user trust, from early strategy through launch and ongoing improvement.
Responsibilities
- Set design direction for monetization experiences, taking user needs, business goals, and technical constraints into account. - Create end-to-end journeys, flows, wireframes, prototypes, and polished interface designs that reduce friction and support repeat engagement. - Use research and behavioral data to form and test hypotheses; partner with research and analytics colleagues on A/B experiments and outcome measurement. - Work with product, engineering, marketing, and data partners to deliver solutions and explain design decisions to senior stakeholders. - Maintain and evolve shared design system components for consistent, scalable experiences. - Support other designers through feedback and mentorship, and advocate for inclusive, accessible design.
Requirements
- At least eight years of experience in product design, UX design, or a related field, with a record of shipping user-centered products. - Strong interaction design, information architecture, and usability skills, demonstrated through a portfolio of complex work. - Experience designing monetization features; work in a marketplace, social platform, or other consumer or two-sided product is especially relevant. - Proficiency with Figma and tools for wireframing, prototyping, and high-fidelity design; experience contributing to design systems. - Ability to lead design strategy, collaborate across disciplines, and communicate rationale clearly to senior audiences. - Experience with experimentation and analytics tools, and an interest in ethical monetization, personalization, and current design practices.
Nice to have
- Experience with AI-based personalization or recommendation systems, or a background in UX research.
