Clinical AI Research Scientist

Role overview Lead applied research on AI for healthcare, turning research findings into systems used in clinical and operational settings. The work spans clinical language understanding, model evaluation, and methods for safe deployment, in close partnership with engineering and clinical experts.

Responsibilities - Set research priorities for clinical AI and healthcare machine learning applications. - Design experiments and evaluation frameworks to assess model performance in healthcare contexts. - Develop research prototypes, benchmarks, and validation approaches that can inform product development. - Work with engineering to move promising methods into production systems. - Consult clinical advisors on whether model outputs meet relevant healthcare standards. - Publish findings and contribute to the clinical AI research community.

Requirements - PhD or equivalent experience in machine learning, natural language processing, or a related field. - Strong publication record in machine learning, NLP, or clinical informatics. - Experience translating research into production systems. - Knowledge of healthcare, clinical workflows, or medical informatics. - Clear communication across research and engineering teams, with a focus on ownership and execution.
