Salesforce Developer

Role overview This role is for an experienced Salesforce Developer focused on designing, building, and scaling solutions across Sales Cloud or Service Cloud within a network operations and automation business. The position involves a substantial mix of declarative configuration and programmatic development, with work spanning CPQ extensions, integrations, and user experience improvements.

Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain custom Apex classes, triggers, batch jobs, and Lightning Web Components - Build automation using Flow and Apex, including migrating legacy Process Builder logic to modern solutions - Extend Salesforce CPQ with custom product rules, pricing logic, and approval processes - Design and support APIs, middleware, and system integrations across platforms - Translate complex business requirements into scalable, well-documented technical designs - Lead user experience improvements through custom Lightning components and dynamic forms - Maintain unit tests, code reviews, and release management practices including deployment pipelines and sandbox strategy

Requirements - 4-6 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience - Strong proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components, and SOQL or SOSL - Deep understanding of Sales Cloud or Service Cloud data models and the opportunity sales cycle - Advanced declarative automation experience, especially Flow, with judgment about when to build programmatically - Strong grasp of data management, integrations, and access control design including roles, profiles, and permission sets - Proven ability to debug complex code and configuration issues and perform root cause analysis - Excellent communication and collaboration skills, including explaining technical trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders

Nice to have - Salesforce CPQ customization experience including custom pricing logic and product rules - Agentforce and Data Cloud development experience - Experience with large-scale data migrations
