About this role
Role overview Own product design across a suite of applications that help technical teams understand and use complex network data. You’ll shape end-to-end experiences as well as the connections between applications, working closely with product managers, engineers, customers, and design leadership. The role also contributes to design practices, shared systems, and the longer-term platform direction.
Responsibilities - Lead design for customer-facing platform features, including analytics, visual exploration, validation, and AI-supported workflows. - Make complex datasets, visualizations, and multi-step tasks clear for network engineers and architects. - Plan and conduct qualitative and quantitative research, then bring findings into product decisions. - Prototype concepts using tools such as Figma, code, or AI, and test them with users and engineers. - Share work early, gather critique, and keep partners aligned; contribute to the design system and component library. - Improve how the team uses AI and product analytics, and help shape the platform’s future direction.
Requirements - At least eight years of product design experience, including enterprise B2B software. - Experience designing for technical audiences such as infrastructure, network, DevOps, or security practitioners. - Evidence of taking products from an initial release through launch, plus strong visual and interaction design shown in a portfolio. - Skill with complex data, visualizations, and multi-step workflows. - Hands-on user research and prototyping experience, with examples of effective AI use in design work. - Experience on a design team in a scaling organization, improving team practices, and collaborating openly; availability for substantial overlap with US Eastern and UK working hours.
Nice to have - Background in observability, monitoring, compliance, network management, or infrastructure software. - Experience using product analytics tools or working with design systems built in Figma and Storybook.
