Solutions Engineer (On Premise Platform)

Role overview Own the technical relationship with customers deploying an on-premises network protection platform, guiding them from initial technical review through implementation and staged launch. The role combines network engineering, packet-level investigation, customer support, and translating operational needs into product requirements.

Responsibilities - Review customer environments after sales handoff to confirm compatibility and implementation needs. - Deploy and integrate filtering nodes into customer networks, including multi-VRF configurations. - Lead production-readiness reviews and coordinate staged go-lives. - Configure deployments and investigate complex issues affecting live services, using packet analysis to trace causes. - Turn customer requirements into actionable development requests. - Provide technical input during presales discussions involving complex networks.

Requirements - Working knowledge of BGP, other routing protocols, and general network engineering. - Strong Wireshark skills and the ability to connect packet evidence to software behavior. - Familiarity with object-oriented programming and general software development concepts, including estimating feasibility and effort. - Experience communicating directly with customers during technical incidents and setting expectations clearly. - Relevant experience in NOC operations, hosting or ISP system administration, or solutions engineering. - English proficiency at approximately C1 level or higher, especially in writing.

Nice to have - Experience with DDoS mitigation or network security. - Familiarity with Prometheus and Grafana monitoring. - German language skills for customers in German-speaking markets.
