Senior Enterprise Applications Engineer

Role overview

We are hiring a senior engineer to take full ownership of the enterprise application ecosystem used across a fast-scaling, AI-focused organization. The role covers the complete lifecycle of business-critical SaaS platforms, from evaluation and procurement through deployment, optimization, renewal, and retirement. It is a remote position based in the United States with significant cross-functional influence.

Responsibilities

- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of a diverse portfolio of SaaS platforms including collaboration, productivity, HR, finance, security, and AI-driven tools. - Lead procurement, contract negotiation, vendor management, renewals, and license optimization across the application stack. - Drive testing, onboarding, and rollout of new tools, ensuring security, compliance, and business requirements are met. - Partner with Security, Legal, Privacy, Compliance, and AI governance teams on risk assessments, audits, and ongoing reviews. - Evaluate emerging AI tools and guide enterprise-wide adoption decisions from a security and compliance perspective. - Support Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Planning from a SaaS standpoint, including documentation and audit participation. - Identify and execute process improvements, automation, and optimization initiatives across the application ecosystem.

Requirements

- 5+ years of experience in enterprise applications, SaaS portfolio management, or enterprise IT with end-to-end ownership. - Hands-on experience managing platforms such as Atlassian, Slack, Zoom, Microsoft 365, Miro, DocuSign, and similar collaboration or business tools. - Solid understanding of the full SaaS lifecycle, including procurement, implementation, renewals, and decommissioning. - Experience collaborating with Security, Legal, Compliance, Privacy, and SOX teams. - Working knowledge of AI tools and how to assess, evaluate, and govern them for security and compliance. - Proven ability to manage vendor relationships, contracts, and licensing at scale, with strong organizational and communication skills.
