About this role

Role overview This position focuses on designing, building, and supporting the connective layer between systems that power a large-scale artificial intelligence cloud platform. The work spans API engineering, serverless orchestration, identity automation, and infrastructure-as-code, with a strong emphasis on solving distributed systems problems across compute, storage, and networking. It suits an integration engineer who enjoys owning production services end-to-end and contributing to platforms that support AI training and deployment workloads.

Responsibilities - Develop and maintain API-based integrations that connect internal platforms with external partner systems. - Build cloud-native services using serverless compute, workflow orchestration, API gateways, and managed messaging components. - Implement automation for operational workflows, identity lifecycle events, and cross-system data synchronization. - Create and maintain deployment pipelines and infrastructure-as-code definitions for repeatable, versioned releases. - Diagnose and resolve integration failures spanning APIs, managed cloud services, and downstream data sources. - Produce and maintain clear technical documentation covering integration patterns, runbooks, and reusable scripts.

Requirements - At least three years of experience developing and supporting system integrations on a major public cloud, ideally Microsoft Azure. - Hands-on proficiency with serverless functions, low-code orchestration tools, event-driven messaging services, API gateways, and managed identity features. - Working knowledge of Python or C#, REST APIs, webhooks, and the Microsoft Graph API. - Experience building CI/CD pipelines and authoring infrastructure-as-code for cloud deployments. - Solid understanding of modern authentication and authorization protocols such as OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, and directory services. - Familiarity with relational database design and operations using engines such as PostgreSQL or Microsoft SQL Server.

Nice to have - Experience with low-code automation platforms and the broader Power Platform ecosystem. - Azure certifications such as AZ-204, AZ-900, or AZ-104. - Familiarity with observability tooling like application performance monitoring and centralized log analytics.

Benefits and work setup - Competitive compensation with opportunities for career growth and ongoing learning. - Flexible working arrangements paired with meaningful ownership of technical decisions. - A collaborative, innovation-oriented culture working on infrastructure that underpins real-world AI projects. - An international team environment with colleagues distributed across multiple research and engineering hubs.
