Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure on AWS to support production workloads. - Develop deployment architectures and continuous delivery pipelines that enable frequent, reliable releases. - Engineer high-availability and fault-tolerant solutions, including container orchestration with Kubernetes. - Apply Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation to automate provisioning and configuration management. - Implement monitoring, alerting, and observability tooling to safeguard performance and respond to incidents proactively. - Embed security best practices across CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure, and microservices, while advising stakeholders on platform improvements.
Requirements
- Significant senior-level commercial engineering experience, typically six or more years, delivering real-world solutions in agile settings. - Strong hands-on background automating and managing AWS infrastructure at scale. - Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation. - Experience with containerization and orchestration, ideally Kubernetes, plus CI/CD pipelines built with GitHub Actions or Jenkins. - Scripting and automation skills, preferably with Python, alongside familiarity with observability and monitoring frameworks. - Solid grasp of cloud, CI/CD, and microservice security practices, plus clear written and verbal communication in English.
