Senior Mobile Developer

Role overview Design, build, and maintain native and cross-platform mobile applications for drivers, dispatchers, and field operations. The work centers on intuitive, ADA-friendly user interfaces and tight integration with real-time telematics data, delivering high-performance experiences on iOS and Android.

Responsibilities - Develop and ship mobile applications across iOS and Android using native or cross-platform stacks (Swift, Kotlin, Flutter, or React Native). - Build accessible interfaces and workflows for trip scheduling, driver scoring, and incident reporting. - Integrate apps with backend APIs, real-time telematics streams (OBD-II, GPS, sensors, cameras, gyroscopes), and third-party SDKs. - Optimize for offline functionality, low-latency data sync, and battery-efficient background processing. - Implement secure data handling aligned with HIPAA, including token management, encrypted storage, and safe authentication flows. - Add in-app diagnostics and logging to support vehicle health monitoring, crash detection, and incident alerts, and partner with backend, product, and UX teams to ship reliable, high-performance features.

Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience. - 4+ years building and shipping production iOS and/or Android applications. - Hands-on experience integrating REST/GraphQL APIs, WebSockets, and streaming data into mobile apps. - Familiarity with device sensors (accelerometer, gyroscope, camera) and real-time location services. - Skill in debugging, profiling, and optimizing mobile code for performance, scalability, and device-level security.

Nice to have - Experience with HIPAA-compliant data handling and secure authentication flows. - Background in telematics, fleet operations, or transportation software.
