IT & Cybersecurity Internal Auditor (2-month Project)

Role overview A short-term external audit assignment focused on cybersecurity controls and IT disaster recovery. The expert will carry out fieldwork within an audit plan: the internal audit team sets the scope, supervises and reviews the work, and issues the final report.

Responsibilities - Test applicable cybersecurity controls and gather supporting evidence. - Assess alignment with relevant national cybersecurity requirements, including the Essential Cybersecurity Controls framework. - Review IT disaster recovery arrangements, including recovery plans, backups, restoration procedures, and plan testing. - Document testing methods, evidence, and findings for review by the internal audit team.

Requirements - At least five years of experience in cybersecurity and IT auditing. - Working knowledge of national cybersecurity frameworks, including the Essential Cybersecurity Controls. - Experience reviewing disaster recovery plans and related controls. - A recognized audit qualification such as CISA, or an equivalent certification.
