Remote job
Full Stack Engineer, Integrations
Job details
About this role
Role overview An identity-verification company is hiring a Full Stack Engineer on its integrations team to embed its product inside the enterprise platforms customers already use. The role spans backend services, console configuration, and connector code for systems like Workday, ServiceNow, Slack, and Okta, where every target has its own auth model, review process, and limits.
Responsibilities - Design and build connectors to third-party enterprise platforms, including auth, data flow, event handling, and in-app verification experiences. - Build the company-side APIs, services, and webhooks each integration depends on, plus the console setup experience customers use to install them. - Take integrations through marketplace and app review processes, including security and listing requirements. - Operate what you build: monitor production, design for versioning and backwards compatibility, and ship observability that surfaces failures early. - Factor shared infrastructure out of individual connectors, contribute templates and scaffolding, and document each integration well enough for support teams to run it.
Requirements - 4+ years building and operating production software, including backend services and APIs. - Demonstrated experience integrating with third-party APIs at scale, not just one-off scripts. - Strong backend skills in Go, Node.js, Python, Java, or similar, plus React for configuration and setup UI. - Working knowledge of OAuth, OIDC, SAML, SCIM, webhooks, and their failure modes. - PostgreSQL (or comparable relational) experience and AWS cloud experience. - Patience with unfamiliar documentation and an instinct to verify rather than trust it.
Nice to have - Hands-on Workday, ServiceNow, Slack, Okta, Entra, ICIMS, or UKG extensibility work; shipping through a marketplace or app review; identity, auth, fraud, or compliance-heavy products; building an integration platform or connector framework; or solutions-engineering or customer-facing engineering background.
Benefits and work setup - Remote-first, US-based team with quarterly offsites, flexible schedules, meaningful equity, comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits, flexible PTO, and new hardware. US work authorization required; visa sponsorship is not available.
