Digital Product Owner - Home Automation & IoT

Role overview A remote Digital Product Owner position focused on home automation and Internet of Things (IoT) products, based in Poland within an engineering organization serving the Eastern European region. The role centers on shaping the direction of connected-home digital offerings and translating product vision into delivered software and hardware-adjacent experiences.

Responsibilities - Own the end-to-end product backlog for a home automation and IoT solution, prioritizing features that align with user needs and business goals. - Translate product strategy into clearly written user stories, acceptance criteria, and release plans for engineering teams. - Collaborate with engineers, designers, and stakeholders to define requirements for connected-device features, integrations, and user interfaces. - Coordinate cross-functional work between engineering and adjacent teams to keep delivery on track across iterative releases. - Gather and analyze feedback from users, partners, and internal teams to inform roadmap decisions and continuous improvement.

Requirements - Demonstrated experience as a Product Owner or similar role working with software engineering teams. - Familiarity with IoT concepts, connected-device ecosystems, or home automation products. - Ability to write clear product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria. - Comfortable working remotely and collaborating across distributed teams in an Eastern European service context. - Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to bridge technical and non-technical audiences.

Nice to have - Background in engineering, computer science, or a related technical discipline. - Experience working with hardware-firmware-software integration in consumer or smart-home products.
