Role overview
A senior presales security architecture role partnering with account executives and clients to design advanced cybersecurity solutions spanning Zero Trust, secure access, and advanced threat protection. The position blends strategic advisory work with hands-on solution design for complex enterprise environments, and is targeted at candidates based in the United States with a focus on the Southern California region.
Responsibilities
- Architect scalable cybersecurity solutions that address complex client security challenges. - Act as a strategic advisor on cybersecurity trends, emerging technologies, and best practices. - Produce and maintain detailed proposals, architectural diagrams, and statements of work aligned to industry standards. - Collaborate across internal teams to align security strategy with broader IT and business objectives. - Support sales teams with technical narratives, BOMs, and participation in client presentations and RFP responses. - Run discovery sessions, assess client environments, and present high-value tailored solutions. - Maintain ongoing security awareness practices and escalate risks to leadership as appropriate.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of cybersecurity experience across architecture, engineering, and strategy. - Hands-on experience with at least one of Cloudflare, CrowdStrike, Okta, Wiz, or Palo Alto Networks. - Advanced certifications such as CISSP or CISM are highly preferred. - Deep familiarity with NIST, ISO 27001, and the MITRE ATT&CK framework, plus risk and compliance practices. - Proven ability to lead high-level discussions and build consensus across stakeholders. - Strong client engagement and relationship management skills. - Solid time and project management capabilities across large security initiatives.

- Deep understanding of EDR, XDR, SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, endpoint protection, and security orchestration and automation. - Mentorship and additional leadership responsibilities.
