Senior Security Solution Architect: Presales - New York (Remote)

Role overview

This is a senior presales security architect role focused on designing advanced cybersecurity solutions for enterprise clients. The position blends deep technical architecture with strategic advisory work and sales support, partnering with account teams to translate business needs into scalable security designs. The role is remote and requires candidates to live in the United States.

Responsibilities

- Architect scalable cybersecurity solutions spanning Zero Trust, secure access, and advanced threat protection across complex client environments - Lead discovery sessions, brief executives, and tailor high-value proposals that align security strategy with business objectives - Produce client-facing artifacts including architectural diagrams, statements of work, bills of materials, technical narratives, and RFP responses - Collaborate with cross-functional engineering, product, and sales teams to align security roadmaps with IT and business frameworks - Shape internal thought leadership by documenting best practices, evaluating vendors, and guiding stakeholders on emerging tools and frameworks - Identify and escalate security risks, support remediation efforts, and complete ongoing security awareness training

Requirements

- At least 10 years of experience in cybersecurity across architecture, engineering, and strategy roles in diverse environments - Hands-on experience with one or more of Cloudflare, CrowdStrike, Okta, Wiz, or Palo Alto Networks; advanced certifications such as CISSP or CISM are preferred - Deep familiarity with frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and the MITRE ATT&CK model, plus risk management and compliance fundamentals - Demonstrated ability to facilitate executive-level discussions, drive consensus across stakeholders, and lead cross-team security programs - Strong client relationship skills and a track record of managing large, complex engagements on time - Working knowledge of EDR, XDR, SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and endpoint protection, with an eye toward automation and orchestration
