The role focuses on building, deploying, and governing scalable machine learning features within a Databricks-based lakehouse, with strong emphasis on reusability, data governance, and auditable outcomes. It suits an engineer who enjoys partnering across functions to transform complex business data into trustworthy, production-grade AI products.

Responsibilities - Design and engineer robust ML features on Databricks that power AI models solving complex business problems. - Implement features with complete standard metadata such as description, keys, lineage, ownership, tags, and data lifecycle, following scalable design patterns that maximize reuse. - Operate robust deployment pipelines including CI/CD, bundle validation, and promotion to production, while monitoring jobs and applying FinOps practices to control cloud costs. - Enforce strict parity between training and production environments, maintaining a single source of truth for all models. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams on ML systems for demand planning, forecasting, computer vision, and recommendation use cases.

Requirements - Hands-on experience with feature engineering, data engineering, and AI model deployment using Databricks and Unity Catalog. - Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python for large-scale data work. - Strong background in data governance, data lineage, and data quality frameworks. - Familiarity with naming conventions, metadata standards, and scalable data architecture best practices. - Detail-oriented mindset with a reuse-first approach to building production ML systems.

Nice to have - Databricks Feature Store certification (Fundamentals or Expert) and prior work with financial datasets. - Experience building AI agents or agentic infrastructure, including agent orchestration and Model Context Protocol patterns.

Benefits and work setup - Fully remote-first work environment. - Full coverage of AWS, DBT, Google Cloud, Azure, and Databricks certifications. - Sponsored in-company English lessons. - Paid day off for birthday plus an additional vacation week each year. - Referral bonuses and monthly benefits-marketplace credits. - Annual team offsite trip and monthly childcare reimbursement.
