Senior Software Engineer, Admin & IAM

Role overview

A senior engineering position on the Admin and Identity and Access Management team, owning how users sign in, manage identities, and access products, plus how administrators configure their organizations. The work spans authentication, authorization, SSO, MFA, user provisioning, session management, and the core permission model. The team operates remote-first with optional office presence in Buenos Aires.

Responsibilities

- Build and evolve core identity systems covering authentication, authorization, SSO, user provisioning, session management, and permissions - Develop the enterprise administration experience, including organization and workspace configuration, user and content administration, billing, and internal admin tooling - Partner with product, design, security, and infrastructure teams to ship secure, intuitive access experiences - Lead complex technical initiatives from design through rollout and operational support - Prototype, implement, and maintain platform features while mentoring teammates - Build flexible, observable, and maintainable services accountable for security, quality, performance, and reliability - Use AI tools within daily workflows to improve productivity and code quality - Contribute to design discussions, code reviews, and ongoing engineering practice improvements

Requirements

- 4+ years building and shipping large-scale production software in an agile setting - Strong backend experience with Node.js, TypeScript or JavaScript, MongoDB, or comparable technologies - Hands-on frontend work with React and modern patterns - Proven track record of planning and delivering technical projects iteratively - Domain knowledge of identity and access management including authentication flows, authorization models, roles, SSO, SCIM provisioning, or session management - Experience building enterprise administration or B2B SaaS configuration surfaces - Comfort working in fast-moving or growth-stage environments - Strong collaboration and communication across disciplines
