Role overview Build and operate software services and products that support a customer-facing platform. The work spans API and service development, reliability, security, and performance, with opportunities to influence architecture and help other engineers grow.
Responsibilities - Design and develop software services and APIs. - Write dependable tests and review teammates’ code. - Improve system performance, security, and observability. - Contribute to architectural decisions and technical direction. - Mentor team members and collaborate with cross-functional product teams. - Help operate products that need to remain reliable in production.
Requirements - Five or more years of software development experience, including work on high-reliability products. - Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience. - Proficiency in TypeScript, Python, or another modern backend language. - Experience with distributed systems, databases, and APIs. - Good understanding of cloud environments, containers, and DevOps practices. - Experience working in fast-moving, cross-functional teams.
