Senior Data Engineer

Role overview Design and operate dependable data pipelines and platform capabilities that support analytics and AI products at scale. The role covers both batch and real-time processing, with responsibility for reliability, performance, security, and the practices that keep production services healthy.

Responsibilities - Design and build batch and streaming data ingestion and processing pipelines. - Establish monitoring, automated checks, and recovery procedures for data workflows. - Improve pipeline performance, operating cost, and capacity to scale. - Apply appropriate access controls and support data security and governance. - Contribute to code reviews and help less experienced engineers grow.

Requirements - At least five years of data engineering experience, including operating critical pipelines in production. - Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related discipline. - Proficiency in Python, SQL, and workflow orchestration tools. - Experience with streaming systems and data warehouse technologies. - Familiarity with cloud services and container-based environments. - Experience reviewing code and mentoring engineers.
