Senior Software Engineer (AI-Driven Systems)

Role overview A Senior Software Engineer is sought to help build a large-scale, multi-tenant commerce platform for the travel and fintech infrastructure space, combining distributed systems engineering with AI-assisted development workflows. The platform powers high-volume, real-time booking and transaction experiences used by enterprises across travel, banking, and financial services, and the role centers on turning AI tooling into measurable engineering velocity.

Responsibilities - Improve and optimize codebases to enable faster, safer AI-assisted development. - Architect scalable systems for a multi-tenant, high-throughput platform. - Orchestrate AI agents to build end-to-end features across the stack, including feedback loops and guardrails for reliable AI-generated code. - Collaborate on technical direction with product and engineering teams, driving documentation, specs, and decisions through AI-assisted workflows. - Build backend services primarily in Scala, with adjacent services in Node.js and Python, and work across React and TypeScript surfaces where needed. - Design for high-throughput distributed workloads and operate services in GCP-backed environments, applying LLMs and agent-based workflows to software delivery.

Requirements - Strong experience building and scaling distributed systems. - Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development or agent workflows. - Deep understanding of LLMs and how to apply them safely in production. - Proficiency in Scala, Node.js, and Python, with React and TypeScript on the frontend. - Comfort designing for multi-tenant, high-throughput architectures and deploying on GCP. - Product judgment combined with backend depth and a bias for shipping.
