About this role

Role overview

This is an Anaplan Support Analyst position within a Finance Centre of Excellence at a digital banking organisation. Working alongside a Lead Solutions Architect, Model Builders, and the FP&A team, the role acts as the operational engine for the Anaplan platform, handling change requests, training end users, and supporting model-building activities that strengthen the financial planning ecosystem.

Responsibilities

- Manage, triage, and deliver end-to-end Change Requests across Anaplan models to keep business operations running smoothly. - Collaborate with the Lead Solutions Architect and Model Builders on building, testing, and rolling out new functionalities and enhancements. - Design and deliver training sessions and documentation that upskill end users across FP&A and Finance Business Partner teams. - Maintain data integrity, manage user access, monitor model performance, and troubleshoot issues as they arise.

Requirements

- Hands-on experience supporting and maintaining Anaplan workspaces and models; Anaplan Level 2 Model Builder certification or equivalent is highly desirable. - Proven track record handling Change Requests, user support tickets, and system enhancements within a Centre of Excellence or support structure. - Functional understanding of Anaplan model architecture and formula building, with the ability to assist in active model development. - Strong communication and facilitation skills, with a passion for training and empowering non-technical users. - Solid foundational understanding of financial modelling, FP&A principles, or finance workflows. - Familiarity with AI tools, including prompt writing, and curiosity for how AI can improve processes.

Nice to have

- Banking or financial services background; candidates from other industries are also encouraged to apply.

Benefits and work setup

- Salary of £42,500 to £50,000 plus incentive awards tied to performance. - Distributed working within the UK, with the expectation of working from the London office occasionally. - Flexible working hours, a £1,000 annual learning budget, and home-working support including a MacBook.
