DevOps Engineer

Role overview A consulting engineering team is hiring a Senior DevOps Engineer to make deployment reliable and repeatable across client production systems. The role owns cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, and automation, sitting inside a delivery team alongside engineers and clients. The team uses AI coding agents (such as Claude Code and Codex) as part of daily workflow and expects fluency with agentic engineering practices.

Responsibilities - Design and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform and Ansible with a cloud-agnostic approach, deployed on AWS - Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment - Set up monitoring, alerting, and observability to keep systems highly available - Deploy and support AI services and pipelines in production environments - Automate provisioning and configuration across environments - Troubleshoot production issues and collaborate across the delivery team

Requirements - 5+ years in DevOps or infrastructure engineering - Strong hands-on AWS experience - Infrastructure as code with Terraform and/or Ansible and a cloud-agnostic mindset - Containerization and orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes - CI/CD tooling and scripting in Python, Bash, or similar - Monitoring and observability practices - Strong English communication skills - Comfort working in a fast-paced, agile consulting environment

Nice to have - Experience deploying AI or LLM services at scale - Cloud cost optimization experience - Security best practices and infrastructure hardening - Multi-cloud experience - Open-source contributions worth showcasing
