Remote job
Sr. Product Manager – Upcoming Apps Portfolio (Remote)
Job details
About this role
Role overview
Own a portfolio of emerging mobile apps, guiding each from early validation through growth or an informed decision to reduce investment, maintain, or close it. The work spans several products at once and centers on testing whether each can build an audience and sustainable business, with monetization choices tailored to the product and its users. You will lead a cross-functional squad and make investment recommendations based on evidence, cost, and potential.
Responsibilities - Set hypotheses, success measures, and time and budget limits for app experiments; assess results and recommend whether to scale, maintain, or sunset each product. - Own product discovery, validation, launch, experimentation, ongoing delivery, and measurement across the portfolio. - Develop and test subscription, advertising, or hybrid revenue models, including pricing, packaging, trials, and paywall placement. - Evaluate revenue per user over time alongside retention, churn, ad load, and other user outcomes. - Shape data sharing and compensation experiences so users can understand and consent to how their data is used; work with privacy and legal partners. - Prioritize work across apps and translate objectives into clear epics and stories with design and engineering partners.
Requirements - 5+ years of product management experience making business and product decisions in an agile environment, including shipping mobile apps. - 3+ years owning discovery from initial idea through validation experiments and launch, with a focus on learning from users. - Hands-on experience with subscription products, such as pricing, trials, paywalls, churn, and win-back approaches. - Experience with mobile advertising monetization, including mediation, ad placement, eCPM, and retention trade-offs. - Ability to manage multiple products, allocate attention and investment, and make evidence-based decisions in ambiguous settings. - Experience building or scaling native Android and iOS applications.
Nice to have
Experience combining subscriptions and advertising in one app; working on data or attention compensation, consent flows, and related privacy or app store policies; familiarity with subscription or ad monetization platforms; demonstrated use of agentic AI tools.
