About this role

Role overview Join a high-impact pre-sales engineering team supporting enterprise customers and prospects across Latin America. As a Senior Customer Engineer, you will act as a trusted technical advisor throughout the sales cycle, partnering with Account Executives to design analytics solutions, lead proof-of-concept engagements, and translate business objectives into measurable technical outcomes. The role blends deep data expertise with consultative selling, focusing on self-serve product analytics adoption in complex, large-scale environments.

Responsibilities - Serve as a strategic technical advisor to prospects, providing consultation on data architecture, governance, instrumentation, and business outcomes. - Lead technical qualification and deliver customized demos aligned to customer use cases and executive business challenges. - Scope, design, and execute proof-of-concept projects, including data ingestion strategy, success criteria, and rollout plans. - Bridge technical and business stakeholders, building credibility with developers, product managers, and senior executives alike. - Partner with Account Executives as the primary technical contact, driving deal cycles and revenue growth within an assigned book of business. - Collaborate with post-sales teams to ensure pre-sales commitments translate into tangible long-term customer results, and channel prospect feedback to the Product organization.

Requirements - Business and conversational fluency in both Spanish and English. - 6+ years of experience in SaaS Sales Engineering, consulting, or a related technical pre-sales role. - Demonstrated success qualifying and selling technical solutions to executive stakeholders. - Hands-on experience with data querying, modeling, and transformation using SQL, dbt, Python, BI platforms, or product analytics tools. - Familiarity with databases and modern cloud data warehouses such as Google Cloud, Redshift, Azure, Snowflake, or Databricks. - Strong written, analytical, presentation, and project delivery skills, with the ability to travel as needed.

Nice to have - Experience with value engineering frameworks, including ROI calculators and executive-level KPI conversations. - Exposure to product-led growth (PLG) environments and sales-assisted conversion motions. - Background in high-growth SaaS organizations (Series B–E or beyond) and proficiency with AI productivity tools such as Claude, Gemini, or similar platforms.

Benefits and work setup - Remote-friendly role with travel as required for customer engagement. - Comprehensive medical, vision, and dental coverage, plus a mental wellness benefit. - Generous vacation policy, additional company holidays, enhanced parental leave, and volunteer time off. - Pre-tax benefits such as a 401(k), wellness allowance, and a holiday break (US-specific perks may vary for contract positions).
