Frontend Engineer

Role overview Build the web experiences that help developers use AI search capabilities, from platform applications and dashboards to interactive documentation. You will own frontend features across their lifecycle and work with backend engineers to deliver responsive, accessible interfaces that perform well at scale.

Responsibilities - Build and maintain the website and user-facing platform applications. - Develop interfaces and interactive playgrounds for embeddings, reranking, and search workflows. - Improve page speed, Core Web Vitals, and interaction smoothness. - Contribute to a shared component library and design system. - Collaborate with backend engineers on API design and integration. - Deliver maintainable code and take features from design through deployment.

Requirements - At least three years of professional frontend development experience. - Strong knowledge of TypeScript, React, modern JavaScript, and Next.js; App Router experience is preferred. - Proficiency with Tailwind CSS or comparable modern styling approaches. - Understanding of web performance optimization, responsive design, and accessibility. - Familiarity with state management, data fetching, and current web development practices. - Ability to work independently, communicate clearly, and contribute in a remote-first team.

Nice to have - Experience with monorepo tools, component libraries, or design systems. - Skills in animation and micro-interactions, or experience with WebSockets and server-sent events. - Familiarity with frontend testing tools such as Vitest, Playwright, or Testing Library. - Understanding of AI/ML concepts, embeddings, or vector search.
