Senior Observability / DevOps Engineer

Role overview A senior individual-contributor role within an engineering organization, focused on observability and DevOps practices. The position is based in Kyiv, Ukraine, and sits inside an IT services environment, supporting reliable operation of production systems and shared tooling. It is suited to an experienced engineer who can lead monitoring, reliability, and automation efforts across teams.

Responsibilities - Design and maintain observability tooling covering metrics, logs, and traces across production systems. - Build and improve CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and deployment workflows. - Partner with engineering teams to diagnose incidents, reduce toil, and improve service reliability. - Contribute to platform engineering standards and shared tooling used across the organization.

Requirements - Senior-level experience in DevOps, site reliability, or platform engineering roles. - Strong background with observability stacks, monitoring tools, and incident response practices. - Proficiency with infrastructure automation, CI/CD, and modern cloud or container platforms. - Based in or able to work from Kyiv, Ukraine, within an IT services engineering team.

Nice to have - Experience operating large-scale or multi-tenant production environments. - Familiarity with IT services delivery models and cross-team collaboration patterns.
