About this role
Role overview This role sits at the systems layer of a product and client services portfolio, building APIs, integrations, payment flows, and data pipelines. You'll design services that connect to third-party platforms and ship reliable back-end code that handles failure gracefully.
Responsibilities - Build APIs and services in Node.js or Python. - Design PostgreSQL data models, applying Prisma where it fits, and use Redis for queues and caching. - Integrate payments (Razorpay), messaging (WhatsApp Cloud API), and telephony (Telnyx, Plivo). - Deploy with Docker on Railway or Vercel, fronted by Cloudflare. - Build background jobs with retries, sanity checks, and clear logging.
Requirements - Production experience with back-end development in Node or Python. - Strong PostgreSQL and data modeling skills. - Experience integrating third-party APIs, working with webhooks, and handling failures. - Comfort with Docker and modern deployment workflows.
Nice to have - FastAPI, Redis queues, or hands-on payments or telephony integration experience.
