Senior DevOps Engineer (m/f/d)

Role overview

Help evolve the platform infrastructure behind an Agentic AI procurement product as a Senior DevOps Engineer. The role spans AWS infrastructure, CI/CD, security, and developer experience across a small, collaborative engineering organization building SaaS and agentic capabilities. You will own platform decisions with strong autonomy while leveraging AI tools to boost daily productivity.

Responsibilities

- Design, build, and maintain AWS infrastructure using Terraform and AWS CDK - Improve GitLab CI/CD pipelines across services and environments - Support serverless and cloud-native workloads including Lambda, API Gateway, CloudFront, RDS, DynamoDB, S3, SNS, and EventBridge - Strengthen observability through monitoring, alerting, logging, and distributed tracing with CloudWatch and OpenTelemetry - Improve infrastructure security including IAM, secrets management, vulnerability scanning, and production access controls - Collaborate with engineering teams to improve deployment workflows and developer experience - Participate in incident response, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis

Requirements

- 5+ years in DevOps, SRE, Platform Engineering, or similar - Strong hands-on AWS experience in production environments - Solid Terraform, GitLab CI, and infrastructure-as-code experience - Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar - Experience operating production systems and troubleshooting complex issues - Security-minded approach to cloud infrastructure and access management - Strong communication skills in a remote-first, async environment

Nice to have

- Multi-cloud or hybrid-cloud experience, especially with GCP, Alibaba Cloud, or STACKIT - Proactive use of AI tools to improve engineering productivity, automation, documentation, and troubleshooting

Benefits and work setup
