Job details
About this role
Role overview
This senior analytics role sits at the intersection of clinical product, member experience, and applied AI initiatives for a women's and family health platform. Rather than owning a single product surface, the position focuses on the connective tissue—building shared measurement frameworks and a unified reporting story that gives every team a common source of truth. The work blends hands-on data modeling with big-picture framing that translates patterns into direction for stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end delivery of cross-functional reports, including both the underlying metric definitions and the decisions they support - Consolidate fragmented reporting across clinical, member-experience, and AI surfaces into a coherent, shared view - Surface insights that emerge only when comparing across surfaces and translate findings into clear recommendations - Partner on scalable data architecture using SQL and Python, reducing one-off requests and enabling team self-service - Define success metrics with Product, Engineering, and Operations partners, balancing rigorous measurement with strategic framing - Establish shared standards, metrics layers, and best practices while mentoring other analysts
Requirements
- 5+ years in analytics or data science with a track record of cross-functional or cross-surface work - Fluency in SQL and dbt, plus strong data visualization skills - Proficiency with at least one BI tool such as Tableau or Looker - Hands-on experience with Python or R - Demonstrated ability to design scalable data structures drawing on internal and third-party sources - Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with a proven ability to convert data into direction for diverse stakeholders
Nice to have
- Experience working with event-based data - Knowledge of experimentation or statistical modeling - Background building shared measurement frameworks or semantic/metrics layers used across multiple teams
Benefits and work setup
- Base salary range of $174,000–$205,000, plus equity and a benefits package - Hybrid work model with primary hubs in the New York Metro area, the San Francisco Bay Area, and Seattle - Three on-site days per week for New York–based team members, plus monthly in-person collaboration days for those in Boston, DC, Chicago, Seattle, and San Francisco - Comprehensive health, dental, and insurance coverage, with 401(k) matching and immediate vesting for US-based employees - 16 weeks of fully paid parental leave (after one year of tenure) and a new-parent stipend - Annual professional development stipend and access to a career coach - Wellness partnerships and access to a broad virtual care platform covering mental health, reproductive health, family planning, and pediatrics - US-based full-time position requiring active work authorization
