Senior Full Stack Engineer

Role overview Build and scale full-stack features for a secure collaboration platform used in demanding enterprise and public-sector settings. The work spans backend services and web interfaces, with responsibility for performance, testing, security, and the quality of software delivered. AI coding agents are part of the team’s everyday development workflow, with engineers accountable for reviewing and validating their output.

Responsibilities - Design and build scalable features across backend services, web applications, and data stores. - Develop and consume REST and WebSocket APIs, applying sound networking practices. - Use AI coding agents for tasks such as scaffolding, refactoring, code review, and test generation, while owning correctness and security. - Shape internal tooling and testing infrastructure, including workflows that help the broader team use coding agents effectively. - Set and own the testing approach for the frontend and backend code you deliver. - Maintain security and compliance standards and contribute to the open-source codebase.

Requirements - Strong full-stack development experience with Go and React, or a comparable technology stack. - Experience designing and using REST and WebSocket APIs, with solid networking fundamentals. - Relational database experience, including schema design and query optimization; PostgreSQL is used in the role. - Regular, hands-on use of AI coding agents for development tasks, paired with judgment about when to verify, correct, or replace their output. - Ability to ship and own complex software end to end with limited supervision.

Nice to have Distributed systems or highly available services; enterprise or regulated-environment security; experience in defense, intelligence, or critical infrastructure; open-source contributions; remote-team experience; or building agent tools and workflows such as MCP servers or CI integrations.

Benefits and work setup Remote-first role with end-to-end ownership and an AI-enabled development environment. Listed salary is $142,723–$172,723, with pay dependent on location and qualifications.
