A consulting-style Data Architect role focused on turning complex client requirements into scalable, data-driven solutions for global brands. The position blends technical discovery, end-to-end architecture design, and strategic roadmap ownership across customer data, identity, and marketing technology ecosystems. It sits at the intersection of data engineering and MarTech, partnering directly with client stakeholders and internal delivery teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead client discovery workshops evaluating existing data platforms, identity frameworks, integrations, and business requirements - Design scalable data architectures spanning warehouse, lakehouse, CDP, and broader MarTech tooling - Define data models, identity resolution, consent frameworks, governance, and data quality standards across multiple brands and markets - Develop technical roadmaps, scope delivery phases, estimate effort, and secure client approval before implementation - Guide data engineering teams in building and optimising batch, event-driven, and low-latency data flows - Mentor engineers, run technical reviews, and translate complex designs into clear business value for stakeholders
Requirements
- Proven experience designing end-to-end data architectures and translating business needs into technical designs - Strong background with Snowflake, Databricks, mParticle, Hightouch, Braze, and related MarTech platforms - Track record estimating and documenting technical solutions, managing scope, and securing client sign-off - Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers and guide delivery across multiple projects - Strong communication and stakeholder management with a commercial, outcome-focused mindset - Experience in an agency or consulting environment managing multiple client engagements
Nice to have
- Certifications in Snowflake, data architecture, or relevant CDP and MarTech platforms - Familiarity with Braze, Amplitude, GA4, and marketing automation within warehouse-centric architectures - Strong understanding of data privacy, security, consent, and regulatory requirements - Experience leading client presentations, workshops, or training sessions
