Role overview A remote opening for an SAP Data Services Developer who builds the ETL pipelines that move, transform, and cleanse enterprise data into target databases and SAP S/4HANA landscapes. The role blends hands-on development with data quality, integration, and migration work in support of defense-sector engagements. A public-trust clearance pathway is required.
Responsibilities - Develop complex data flows, batch jobs, and real-time jobs using the SAP Data Services Designer toolset. - Implement data cleansing, profiling, and validation routines to maintain enterprise-wide data integrity. - Connect diverse SAP and non-SAP databases, data warehouses, and applications, ensuring seamless system integration. - Lead technical data migration activities into newer SAP environments such as S/4HANA, including profiling, cleansing, and validation. - Optimize existing SAP Data Services jobs for improved performance and scalability. - Collaborate with functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and participate in peer and quality reviews of specs, design documents, and code.
Requirements - Bachelor's degree in information technology or a related field. - Two years of ABAP experience with emphasis on FI (AR/AP/GL/FM), SMART Forms, and SAPscript. - Experience with SAP BODS, SQL scripting, and data governance practices. - Working knowledge of data integration, data quality and cleansing, data profiling, and text data processing. - Familiarity with core SAP Data Services components, including the Designer interface, central Repository, Job Server and processing environment, and web-based Management Console for scheduling and monitoring. - U.S. citizenship with willingness to obtain and maintain a Public Trust suitability and a Tier 2 investigation for DoD Common Access Card eligibility.
Benefits and work setup Fully remote position within the United States. Projected compensation range is $94,800 to $157,200, varying with contract wage determination, experience, skills, location, education, certifications, and federal contract labor categories.
