Role overview
Own the improvement of cloud infrastructure, delivery automation, monitoring, and operational support for a globally distributed industrial IoT environment. The position combines DevOps engineering with advanced infrastructure support: improving internal engineering systems while advising customers on reliable, secure, and scalable deployments across cloud and on-premises environments.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, operational tooling, and underlying infrastructure. - Develop integrations between systems and automate workflows using scripting and APIs. - Build, operate, and monitor Kubernetes deployments, including related tooling for observability and delivery. - Administer cloud resources and support a worldwide IoT infrastructure with high availability and resilient operations. - Advise customers on infrastructure practices, assess project feasibility, and respond to technical requirements. - Prepare workshops, communicate findings to management and customers, and contribute to technical and functional documentation.
Requirements
- Experience building or maintaining CI/CD pipelines with tools such as GitLab or Jenkins, together with a strong understanding of Git flow and microservices. - Experience with AWS or Azure, infrastructure as code using Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, and tools such as Helm, Argo CD, or Prometheus. - Ability to script with Python, Bash, or JavaScript and work with REST or gRPC APIs. - Experience with monitoring and analysis platforms such as CloudWatch, Icinga, Zabbix, Splunk, Elastic Stack, or Grafana. - Strong Linux administration skills, plus knowledge of load balancing, high availability, databases, backups, and message brokers or MQTT. - Working knowledge of PKI and OpenSSL, networking protocols, and the ability to communicate fluently in English with customers and colleagues.

- Certifications related to networking, databases, AWS, or Azure. - Experience with public repositories, Industry 4.0, Lean methods, or industrial IoT. - Engineering training and a systematic, analytical approach to problem solving.
