The role spans planning, roadmap management, goal tracking, customer insight, launch coordination, team development, and tools, with an emphasis on lightweight systems that make work clearer and easier.
Responsibilities - Set and maintain the product team’s planning, review, and update cadence; make decisions and follow-ups visible, and adjust rituals when they stop being useful. - Keep the roadmap current and organized for engineering, leadership, and go-to-market audiences. - Coordinate goal setting and quarterly progress tracking, maintain reporting with data partners, and surface emerging gaps. - Maintain practical standards from problem definition through launch, coordinating internal launch readiness with marketing. - Build systems for customer research, ongoing customer conversations, and sharing insights from sales, support, surveys, and deals with product managers. - Support product manager onboarding, training, shared practice, hiring, and career levels; guide the use of product tools, analytics, and AI.
Requirements - At least 6 years of experience, including 3 or more in product operations or a related product strategy, program management, or chief-of-staff role. - Experience creating a product team’s operating cadence during a period of growth. - Clear writing skills and the ability to make plans, updates, and documentation easy to understand. - Comfort defining metrics, using business intelligence tools, and assessing data quality; SQL is a plus. - Enough technical fluency to work credibly with engineering teams in a developer-focused environment. - Ability to influence through useful systems rather than formal authority; practical use of AI tools is expected.
