About this role
About the Role: We are looking for an experienced Azure Administrator to manage, secure, and optimize our cloud environment. You will be responsible for deploying and configuring Azure services, implementing identity and access controls, ensuring backup and disaster recovery, and maintaining performance across resources. This is a hands-on role where you'll drive stability, security, and efficiency in an enterprise Azure setup.
Experience: 3+ years of hands-on Azure administration experience in enterprise environments.
Location: Remote
Type: Contract – 3 Months
Time Zone: Singapore Time
Key Responsibilities:
Deploy, configure, and monitor Azure resources to meet business needs.
Manage authentication, permissions, and RBAC using Azure Active Directory.
Implement backup and disaster recovery solutions to ensure business continuity.
Troubleshoot and optimize performance issues across Azure services.
Automate tasks and configurations using PowerShell and Azure CLI.
Secure the cloud environment and enforce access controls.
Leverage monitoring tools like Azure Monitor, Service Health, and Application Insights.
Track and optimize Azure costs using pay-as-you-go models.
Key Skills:
Strong understanding of core Azure services: Virtual Machines, App Services, SQL Database, Blob Storage.
Proficiency with Azure Active Directory roles, permissions, and identity management.
Familiarity with Azure monitoring and diagnostics tools.
Knowledge of Azure Functions and event-driven compute scenarios.
PowerShell scripting and Azure CLI for automation.
Strong grasp of cloud security practices and compliance standards.
Certifications:
Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (preferred)
