About this role
Role overview Join a small team building a developer platform that lets users rent GPU compute from a distributed network of independent providers. The work spans a web app, command-line tooling, and a public API, with end-to-end ownership of features that touch scheduling, billing, and provider operations. It's a hands-on engineering role for someone who enjoys moving between frontend, backend, and infrastructure concerns on a fast-moving product.
Responsibilities - Ship full-stack features covering pod lifecycle management, templates, persistent storage, backups, billing flows, and a provider-facing portal. - Build and maintain the frontend in Next.js, React, and TypeScript, including a high-density GPU marketplace listing with live pricing and a multi-step checkout experience. - Extend a Python backend on PostgreSQL that handles pod scheduling, provider reliability scoring, and payment settlement. - Improve provisioning speed and reliability across a heterogeneous fleet of provider hardware. - Write tests, review pull requests, and keep the CLI, internal docs, and product in sync as features evolve. - Engage with users in community channels and issue trackers, translating feedback into roadmap improvements.
Requirements - Four or more years of professional experience building production software. - Strong proficiency in TypeScript and React, with comfortable working knowledge of Python. - Solid understanding of PostgreSQL and SQL, plus day-to-day experience with Docker and Linux. - Ability to debug across the full stack, from React rendering issues to slow database queries to failing containers. - Clear written communication, comfort working asynchronously, and a track record of shipping quickly without sacrificing code quality.
Nice to have - Experience operating Kubernetes on AWS, including Helm or Pulumi for infrastructure as code. - Familiarity with GPU or ML infrastructure, such as CUDA, driver setup, or container images for training and inference workloads. - Background job systems like Redis or Celery. - Open-source contributions that can be reviewed.
