Role overview
This senior designer role sits on a growth revenue experimentation team for a family-focused consumer subscription product. The work centers on designing and iterating on subscription and monetization experiences through rapid A/B testing across trial conversion, trial-to-paid conversion, pricing, SKU routing, and churn and win-back flows. The designer partners with product, data science, and engineering to turn loose ideas into well-scoped experiments and measurable learnings.
Responsibilities
- Design and run a high volume of experiments across revenue and monetization surfaces, from trial conversion through churn and win-back - Turn loosely defined briefs into well-scoped, testable hypotheses using research and data - Lead design for self-originated experiments and act as a critical, PM-partnering voice on others - Partner with data science and analytics to define success metrics, interpret results, and translate learnings into follow-on hypotheses - Present experiment concepts, in-flight learnings, and results to cross-functional stakeholders and leadership
Requirements
- 6+ years of product design experience, ideally with exposure to growth, experimentation, or subscription and monetization design - Track record shipping and iterating on A/B or multivariate experiments in fast-paced, high-velocity environments - Comfort operating with ambiguity, able to convert a loosely defined brief into a well-scoped, testable hypothesis using research or data - Proactive, ideas-first mindset that brings concepts to the table rather than waiting for fully formed briefs - Strong collaboration skills working across product, data, engineering, and content
Nice to have
- Familiarity with experimentation and feature testing tools - Background designing for subscription funnels, paywalls, or in-app purchases - Experience partnering with ML teams on offer personalization and SKU targeting - Comfort using AI tooling across ideation, design, and analysis
