About this role

Role overview A senior regional technical specialist position focused on HVAC systems, with particular emphasis on Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) and related light commercial/residential product lines. The role serves as the primary technical liaison for contractor, distributor, and sales channel partners across an assigned region, combining remote troubleshooting with frequent on-site support and training delivery.

Responsibilities - Provide expert technical guidance by phone, email, and case management to contractor, distributor, and representative partners, driving timely resolution of system issues. - Interpret wiring schematics and refrigerant circuit diagrams to advise field partners on equipment application, troubleshooting, and load verification. - Coordinate with internal technical support, engineering, escalation, and controls teams to resolve escalated field issues, including arranging supervised on-site assistance when needed. - Plan and execute jobsite visits, on-site service, and installation support for channel partners across residential and commercial product lines. - Develop and deliver technical training programs, and contribute to training materials, documentation, and rollout of software/hardware service updates. - Manage a regional service champion program, including strategy development, performance oversight, and direct engagement with building owners and general contractors.

Requirements - HVAC vocational diploma or associate's/bachelor's degree preferred, plus 15-20 years of HVAC or technical support experience. - 3-5 years of experience supporting VRF and residential/light commercial systems in a technical support capacity. - Proven ability to manage a region and assigned service champions, with experience setting goals and executing service support strategies. - Strong proficiency reading schematics and troubleshooting complex service issues remotely and in person. - Willingness to travel up to 75% within the assigned region. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, plus strong planning, analytical, and decision-making ability, with Microsoft Office proficiency.
