Team Lead, Design

Role overview A player-coach design leadership role owning creative direction and day-to-day design operations across print and digital work. The lead sets the visual direction, manages a small international design team's workload, and drives consistency through well-maintained design systems. AI-forward methodologies are expected to keep design workflows scalable and efficient.

Responsibilities - Establish and own creative direction across visual identity, design systems, and campaign consistency. - Project manage and assign design tasks across the team, balancing priorities and deadlines. - Collaborate with other designers on both print and digital design projects. - Build and maintain design systems and reusable components, including Figma libraries, templates, and style guides. - Lead, mentor, and coach team members while remaining hands-on in day-to-day design production.

Requirements - Demonstrated experience in creative direction or design leadership roles. - Strong project management skills, with the ability to assign, track, and prioritize work across a team. - Proficiency in Figma, including design systems and component libraries. - Experience working across both print and digital design formats. - Skill integrating AI tools into the design process. - Ability to collaborate across time zones, with Eastern time zone availability preferred.
