Role overview
Lead the product strategy and growth of a transportable radar system that provides information about objects and activity in low Earth orbit. The role connects customer missions and market needs with radar capabilities, engineering, operations, and commercial objectives, guiding the product from discovery through deployment and ongoing improvement.
Responsibilities - Set the product vision, roadmap, market position, priorities, configurations, and packaging. - Work with government and commercial customers, operators, and mission partners to understand workflows, validate needs, and identify high-value use cases. - Turn customer and business requirements into product capabilities, interfaces, configurations, and development priorities. - Coordinate across radar, hardware, software, data, systems, infrastructure, and operations teams through development, testing, deployment, and iteration. - Guide investment decisions using customer value, mission impact, technical feasibility, operating complexity, scalability, and revenue potential. - Help customer-facing teams explain and demonstrate the product and align internal teams on priorities, configurations, and commitments.
Requirements - Product management experience in space, aerospace, national security, or a closely related field, with sound commercial and technical judgment. - Experience developing or commercializing products that combine hardware, software, data, communications, infrastructure, and operations. - Familiarity with radar or other sensing technologies, including concepts such as detection, tracking, coverage, revisit rates, and sensor tasking. - Understanding of space domain missions or related concepts such as orbital tracking, object characterization, or satellite operations. - Ability to translate complex customer missions and technical capabilities into clear product direction and requirements. - Eligibility to obtain required U.S. space technology export authorizations; a security clearance or ability to obtain one is preferred.
Nice to have
Experience with government acquisition, proposals, demonstrations, customer evaluations, complex enterprise sales, product packaging or pricing, and deployed systems where reliability and maintainability matter. A technical degree or background in engineering, physics, computer science, aerospace, or a related field is beneficial.
Benefits and work setup
The role is contingent on final approval, with hiring expected to begin as early as January 2027. Listed compensation is a $171,000–$194,000 base salary benchmarked to Denver, plus bonus and equity; the offer may vary by location and qualifications.
