Product Manager LekeeWallet

Role overview Lead delivery of a live consumer wallet’s next-generation platform, coordinating an external delivery partner and defining what acceptable, complete work looks like. The role combines product ownership with operational oversight: the service must keep running through phased delivery, migration, and eventual transfer to an internal team. You’ll work closely with engineering, compliance, support, and regulators; coding and line-managing the partner’s developers are outside the described scope.

Responsibilities - Own partner scope, milestones, acceptance criteria, and a regular delivery cadence; review progress and sign off completed milestones. - Plan phased handover from partner operation to internal ownership, including preparing the receiving team from the start. - Protect the existing wallet service during delivery by planning migration and preventing regressions. - Work with compliance colleagues and regulators on obligations related to payments, identity checks, anti-money-laundering controls, and data protection. - Track service and product measures including transaction cost, uptime, failures, disputes, activation, retention, and average balance. - In the first three months, learn compliance requirements, review support issues, understand the existing payment integrations and failure modes, and take ownership of the delivery schedule.

Requirements - Four to eight years of product management experience, including at least one consumer product shipped at scale. - Exposure to products involving payments, marketplaces, or super-apps. - Ability to set clear scope and acceptance criteria and communicate decisions in briefs that engineering, design, and legal colleagues can use. - Operational humility and willingness to spend time with customer support during the initial phase.
