About this role
Role overview
This position leads the business intelligence function across multiple consumer finance verticals, partnering directly with yield, paid media, and account management teams to translate complex, often unstructured third-party data into standardized reporting and forward-looking insight. The scope spans credit cards, banking, make-money/manage-money, and marketplace categories, with a clear growth path from technical executor into trusted analytical partner. Success is measured by whether dashboards get adopted and decisions get made, not just by what gets built.
Responsibilities
- Audit existing reporting consumed by stakeholders, surface discrepancies and redundancies, and build a roadmap to standardize dashboards across assigned verticals - Develop and maintain advanced semantic-layer models (LookML or equivalent in Power BI/Tableau), with full awareness of downstream impact - Translate business questions into data work, then communicate results so they land with the right context for the right audience - Run retrospective analyses across experiments, creatives, offers, seasonality, and CAC performance to surface trends the team is not yet seeing - Drive data literacy by educating business partners on reporting best practices and enabling confident self-service analytics - Progress from technical executor toward a go-to analytical partner who recommends action, not just delivers findings
Requirements
- 7+ years in business intelligence or analytics, with direct exposure to performance or affiliate marketing - Expert-level SQL and comfort extracting insights from raw, unstructured data without relying on clean models - Demonstrated end-to-end reporting ownership, from data pipeline through dashboard adoption - Advanced semantic-layer modeling skills (LookML, Power BI, or Tableau) - Strong performance marketing intuition connecting data to levers such as campaign performance, conversion rates, and revenue per session - Track record of partnering with business teams to influence decisions, not just deliver reports
Nice to have
- Experience standardizing reporting across multiple verticals simultaneously - Comfort navigating messy, complex, third-party data sets - A proactive, point-of-view orientation that surfaces problems before being asked
Benefits and work setup
- Remote-first team distributed across many countries - Compensation includes base salary, profit-sharing bonus, and competitive benefits - Performance-driven merit increases tied to company and individual results - Equal Employment Opportunity employer with a stated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
