About this role
Role overview A discovery and conversion organization is hiring a Lead BI Developer to own the end-to-end reporting infrastructure that powers decision-making across several consumer-finance verticals. The role is embedded directly with Yield, Paid Media, and Account Management stakeholders, blending technical data modeling with business partnership to surface insights that move performance metrics.
Responsibilities - Audit current reporting consumption, flag discrepancies and redundancies, and develop a roadmap to standardize dashboards across assigned verticals - Build and maintain advanced semantic-layer models (LookML or equivalent in Power BI/Tableau) with full awareness of downstream impact - Translate raw, unstructured third-party data into accurate, trusted datasets that support campaign performance, conversion rate, and revenue-per-session analysis - Run retrospective analyses across creatives, offers, seasonality, experiments, and CAC performance to identify trends and recommend action - Partner with business teams to elevate data literacy, drive dashboard adoption, and enable confident self-service analytics - Progress over time from technical executor to go-to analytical partner who challenges the team with insights they are not yet seeing
Requirements - Minimum 7 years of experience in business intelligence or analytics with direct exposure to performance or affiliate marketing - Expert-level SQL and demonstrated comfort extracting insights from raw, unstructured data without relying on clean upstream models - Proven track record of owning reporting end-to-end, from data pipeline through final dashboard - Advanced development skills in LookML, Power BI, or Tableau semantic modeling - Strong business acumen with the ability to connect data work directly to decisions that moved performance levers - Track record of partnering with non-technical stakeholders to surface meaningful trends and drive adoption
Nice to have - Experience standardizing reporting suites across multiple business verticals - Background working with messy, complex, third-party marketing data sources - Ability to articulate how a vertical makes money and what its key performance levers are
Benefits and work setup - Remote-first team operating across multiple countries - Compensation package includes base salary, profit-sharing bonus, and competitive benefits, with future increases tied to company and individual performance rather than cost-of-living adjustments - Outcome-oriented culture that measures work by impact and runs at a fast pace with constant change - Equal Employment Opportunity employer committed to a diverse, inclusive team
