Role overview
Senior Manager responsible for corporate IT infrastructure and employee support across identity, endpoints, office technology, SaaS administration, and distributed support operations. The role leads a distributed technical team, modernizes access and device management, improves service quality and audit readiness, and establishes responsible governance for AI productivity tools.
Responsibilities
- Set the roadmap for identity, endpoint management, office technology, SaaS administration, support operations, and AI-tool governance. - Own the team operating model, including prioritization, escalation paths, service metrics, runbooks, change control, and support-quality standards. - Lead identity and authentication modernization, including MFA, device trust, access reviews, least-privilege remediation, and provisioning improvements. - Direct endpoint compliance, device lifecycle automation, hardware refresh planning, policy enforcement, and migration of device-management systems. - Partner with People, HRIS, Business Systems, Security, Compliance, Workplace, and Engineering on onboarding, offboarding, role-based access, SCIM provisioning, and SaaS lifecycle automation. - Provide senior escalation support for complex IT incidents while coaching the team toward durable fixes and stronger documentation.
Requirements
- At least eight years of experience in corporate IT, infrastructure, workplace technology, identity and access management, endpoint management, or enterprise SaaS administration. - At least two years managing IT engineering, infrastructure, support, or workplace technology teams. - Strong knowledge of IAM concepts and technologies, including SSO, SAML/OIDC, SCIM, MFA, device trust, groups, policies, and SaaS provisioning. - Experience with MDM, Mac fleet management, device compliance, lifecycle processes, and hardware refresh programs. - Experience building scalable support operations involving incident response, escalation management, service metrics, runbooks, and employee-focused service delivery. - Strong judgment regarding access governance, sensitive employee data, audit readiness, production change control, and operational risk.
Nice to have
- Practical automation experience using APIs, scripting, workflow platforms, or similar tools. - Experience administering or governing AI-enabled productivity tools and applying AI responsibly to IT operations. - Vendor evaluation and build-versus-buy experience, preferably in a high-growth SaaS, distributed-workforce, or complex enterprise environment. - Familiarity with tools such as Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, MDM platforms, HRIS provisioning, IT service management, workflow automation, and SaaS administration systems.
